New Community Owned Conference and Office Venue Open for Business in All Saints
Wolverhampton based development trust All Saints Action Network (ASAN) is pleased to announce that following a £1.6Million reburbishment ‘The Workspace' is now fully open for business. The Workspace offers:
Conference and meeting space to suit 2 to 200 people, with break out space and a welcoming atrium area ideal for use as exhibition or marketing space. All rooms are fully accessible to people with disabilities.
High quality affordable offices for rent under flexible arangements. Offices available range from 200 sq ft to 700 sq ft. Various rental packages are provided and include light, power, heating, car parking, window cleaning, repairs & maintenance, landlords service charge, 24 hour security and office furnishings (by arrangement).
Following completion of the refurbishment of The Workspace Mike Swain, Chief Executive of ASAN, said:
"The refurbishment of The Workspace has only been possible through the support of a number of key partners and supporters including: ABCD (Wolverhampton's New Deal for Communities Programme), Advantage West Midlands and the Adventure Capital Fund. Through their support we have been able to create a high quality community owned and run facility which will make a long term contribution to the regeneration of All Saints and neighbouring areas. The Workspace will minimise its environmental impact through maximising use of natural light throughout the building and making use of waste wood to provide all the buildings heating needs via a state of the art Biomass boiler."
The Workspace is the latest community enterprise to be developed and managed by ASAN which also runs The Big Garage car park and Green-Office office furniture recycling business. The Workspace is located within a campus of community facilities and enterprises which includes Southside Sports - ASAN's sports development facility and the former All Saints Church which is now used to provide community activities.
Following the opening of The Workspace the Facilities Manager highlighted some key features of the services offered in the newly refurbished building:
"The Workspace offers real value for money for organisations and companies seeking either high quality Conference/meeting space or serviced offices. Our services are provided to the highest standards and with keen attention to detail. Our facilities are available for hire: day times, evenings and weekends, all year round. All our rooms are fully accessible to people with disabilities and we provide a full catering service for meetings at The Workspace with a range of distinctive menus freshly prepared and with options to suit all dietary needs.
